Welp, I wussed out and bought the Season 3 set.
If you can get passed the new intro (very hard for me), and the lack of extras, at least the video is much, much better than the first two seasons! Not even in the same league really. It's not perfect, but damn good for being 15 year old. Clean and bright and actually better than the broadcast episodes on FX, IMHO.
Anyone else check it out yet?
Edit: Also, after having watched every episode about a bazillion times over, I have them all pretty much memorized. So isn't it odd to watch the dvd's and see/hear little differences from the broadcast episodes? Like in the 3rd season, first episode, there is about 15 seconds added to the part where Al and the librarian meet. I wonder why they edit the broadcast ones? Time maybe?

No, I'havent got mine yet (german dubbed dvd isn't for sale yet (but in 3 weeks))
But as I already wrote in another thread:
Tehe quality shoud be "broacast quality". Season 1 & 2 have been "vhs quality".
I think the next seasons will also be in that quality - maybe in the later seasons we get something like nearly-dvd-quality

Hi Master416!
Thanks
Well, my english is not perfect but it's ok
Teh reason why I buy the german dubber version is that, that - as you've already suggested - have then german and english as well as some other languages (frensh,..) on the dvd.
"why buy milk if you have to cow at home"
Personally I like both versions. The english is the great voice of Ed O'Neill but the german voice is great too - everybody knows this voice in Germany/Austria/Switzerland.
Also all other carachters have great german voices.
But the most of the time I listen to the english version (it's also good to learn some (grossly)-english vocabulary)
Daniel
Thanks
