Germans...
How can you live with dubbed shows and movies?
If I've understand it correct, almost everything on german with different language gets dubbed. Even porn films :C. It's for me would feel like going back to when I was under 10 and couldn't read very well so everything was dubbed and no subtitles... but I like to hear the original actors voice.

Hi kzu!
The reasons for that is, because there are so many ppl talking german.
If you never had anything else then german language on tv you don't miss anything.
That's also one advantage on DVDs. There's always the original language included.

I like movies and shows in their original language (especially MWC or Friends) Mostly because the german synchronisation can't bring over every nuance of comedy that is packed in those funny phrases they use.
And in some cases, because the synchro just sucks (especially in the first few seasons where the guys who're doing it don't know much about the show)

Ladies&gentlemen, I hate dubbing. It is difficult to translate a complicated sentence, but it's almost impossible to translate humour!Fashioned with unfamiliar humour! And TV translators are no miracle performers, let's be real. Aw jeez, I'll have to wait till starting to earn cash to have enough to buy all the DVD's I want. When having heard the original talks while dubbing is mute, I hate it even more. Shoot 'em, shoot 'em, shoot 'em mahfah
