The father of Seven is the cousin of Peg, I think..
And the parents left the Kid at the Bundy house..
They said that they are going to get some cigarettes..
The creators thought that a new kid would be a good idea..
But after some episodes, they canceled this idea..
I think there were a lot of people who mailed to the creators, that they don't like the kid..
Some say, that this kid was the slow death of MWC

Seven was indeed a really bad idea of the creators.
But I always cite the words of Michael G. Moye beeing asked about Seven.
"Seven disappeared just as quick as he appeared.
He went up the stairs and was never seen again." (of course we saw him again on the milk).

It's not creepy.
It was in dependence on the Lindbergh Baby (it's grandfather was the famous Charles Lindbergh) that was kidnapped in March 1932.
The foto of the baby was then printed on milk cartoons.
As far as I know the baby was never found alive and the case was closed 1936.

He suffered the so called Chuck Cunningham syndrome which is:
Chuck Cunningham syndrome is a term of criticism applied when a regular character (ie: main character, supporting character, recurring character) in a television series leaves with little or no explanation, and is never referred to again despite the character's previous importance either to the show or to the other characters.

Seven (Shane Sweet) runs away to live with the D'Arcys and is never seen again. (The producers of the show realized they had made a mistake in introducing his character; his face was later seen on a milk carton.)
