Forum Hacked /Defaced

Dear Bundyfans!
Today Shoe Dick informed me that the forum has been hacked.
I could restore the data and all the pages and updated to the latest version of the software (from 3.0.4 -> 3.0.
.
See attached what the forum locked like.
The hack had been done from turkey (IP: 78.175.9.215) - Thu 10 Mar, 2011 5:59 pm (GMT-1).
Thanks to Shoe Dick who informed me as soon as he found out that something was going on.

I also added a better captcha for the registration process - let's wait if this helps to get rid of these spammers.

This is how it looked here for a couple of hours:
I was scared to death that everything we'd posted all these years were gone. But then after I alerted Daniel, he came to the rescue! The site looked like this for a short amount of time:
Thank God everything is back to normal again. Let's hear it for our Admin Daniel. Hipp hipp!

Wow - you weren't kidding about being hacked!
I think a captcha is a very good idea... anything to get rid of the spammers/hackers/lurkers who will never register and steal our stuff as a 'guest'

Yes but it didn't work - so I installed today a new fancy thing where a new user must select a person that was not on the show to proceed.

Sorry, no way...
It would be possible to get some stuff back using google caching system or the waybackmachine, but that would be too much work.
