I only gave this a 2 because of the Seamus McBundy scene. The other two segments are getting a one.

I remember you not liking these episodes. I have to agree now that I see them all these years later. I gave this part the lowest grade of the whole season, a 3. Best scene of them all is the McBundy scene, no doubt.

Have to give it up to Ed, he didn't mind making fun of himself! That's one of the most important things in comedy, I think - not taking oneself too seriously.

As i remember, here in Germany, "The England Show" was promoted as a highlight at its first airing in the 1990's at RTL Television and i had to stay up all night to watch it (because it was shown late in the night).

At the time, i thought it was 'cool' because it was something DIFFERENT to all the other episodes.

Now, i have to say i do not really like it, because it is low. Very low...

So i give it 2 stars.
