mkay...
but how can sony be that stupid???they´ll lose so many buyers with the syndication-shit
AND: the syndication episodes on fx feat. AFAIK a shorter oening, but on dvd it´s the normal long opening! if they can cut a long opening into the syndication episode, they must can(damn english now :) ) change the theme song in 7 episodes without using syndication episodes....

I couldnt care less about the theme song or intro as long as I would get FULL episodes, hell, they could have cut out the intro, I would still buy the sets.

One thing I already posted on dvdtalk.com

I think that will be a shot in their own foots!
I see hundrets of people buying some 11-season DVDs on ebay.

Of course it will not have the same quality like original dvds but why should they buy them?

- for an original theme?
- for original episodes?
- for the big extras?
- for getting it so cheap?
- or getting season 11 and don't know how to play it because everybody is using blue-ray then?

Tell me if you have the answer for me.

Another good question I found on a us-board:

"And why was Rain Girl released intact on the compilation disc (best of)? Was
its audio master misplaced recently?"

true, true....

As I wrote a few seconds in another forum I did the job in 30 Minutes.

I took one episode from season 3 with the new opener and one episode from season two.

Cut the soundtrack from S2 and pasted it into the episode from S3.
All in all it took me 30minutes (including downloading a software and finding the DVDs) - and I'm not an expert!

Here you can download the example:
http://www.albundy.net/download/season3_edited.avi
Info: 5mb, mp3- & xvid codec used.

Note that the bad quality results from the compresion.

And now tell me that people from Sony can't do that too.
After I did the first episode I can put it into a batch job and let the computer do the rest of the work. Go to sleep and in the morning I have a completet DVD with the original Soundtrack!

well but, just as in the german thread, it seems it not only the opening
http://www.hometheaterforum.com/htforum ... did=240915
but sony can do that like they did in season one(married without children), i guess their just too lazy to do that again and change the music and mix in vocals etc...

I think it all depends - as already often said - if SPHE.de has the original master tapes or not.

hm i guess they´ll have the tapes but do they have the money and the opportunity to change the music? i fear not :(
as already often said :)

at the moment the music is not so important than the Uncut episodes.

At first i want the episodes uncut.

well thats the fact why the episodes are cut! they say they lost something from the episodes so that they can´t change the music and so the just use syndi eps!
