We hope against hope. It would be kind of fun to guess what the stroyline would be now. Imgaine if the shoe had gone on another 14 years, what would Bud and Kelly be doing? Marcy? Jefferson? Steve? Something tells me AL and Peg would not change.

It is quite strange to think about isn't it? I think Kelly would have been famous for a bit, hmm she might even have gotten married. Bud probably would still be living at home

i see it lke this, Al and Peggy still the same, Bud living with them in the basement working in another shoe store that use internet for selling and is aguing with Al wich way to sell is better. Kelly has a house next door and married to a rich guy who "loves her for her mind" and Jefferson & Marcy still living next door, Marcy is the bank president, Jefferson is still Marcy's giggolo and a husewife, they have a snobby kid wich is mocked constantly by Bud and Al ofcourse. Dam I wanna see this happen!

Hi Arman,

How about a topical theme like Kelly and Bud moving back home with Al & Peg
because they lost their jobs at Solyndra and Lehman Bros... Hmmmm?
or closer to the truth....
(lost their jobs at "Circuit City" and "Bath and Bedtime")

Al could be worshiped for having the foresight to be in a recession-proof
business like shoes..
Yes, there would actually be food in the fridge this time.. and Peg
would be getting around the kitchen using a walker...
Al... would have a better reason for putting his hand down his pants..
because he got a hernia from helping Peg get out of the tub.

Al would be hated by the "Occupy" protesters because his persistence
at work paid off... when he bought the Shoe Store and became a member of the
1% club.

I can see Al now... wearing a tophat and a monocle.. like Mr. Peanut.
