Chat

Would anybody be interested in a regular chat (e.g. every month)?

You can ask there any question about MWC, or just talk with other fans!

This would be good. Though I hope if we do this we can find a good middle ground between time zones. I get home from work when you guy's are going to bed. And when I'd be ready to chat you guy's are just starting your day. Perhaps a weekend chat time?

Exactly Dr. Trumaine. I've experienced the same thing on other forums, setting a date for weekend seems to be common and the best solution to both sides of the world ;)

i think that here are enough "regular" user to make at least a little chat. as far as i see, users like "axelfoley", "panek", "dr. trumaine", "tido", "rdo3", "arman", ... and of course daniel are frequently on this site, at least 8 persons including me, this is enough for a chat, even if some of us wouldn't take part.

maybe we should just arrange a date. if it works, ok, if not, i don't think that someone who was online for nothing would be offended.

i think that something like a sunday at 5pm european time would be the best, for americans this would mean arround 8-11am. imho this would be acceptable for the most.

your thoughts?

Yes it would be great, even if there would not be many regular visitors.

No, there was never a regular chat.
I think a big problem is that we are all living in different time zones - so it's not so easy to find a time where everyone hast time/or is awake/or not at work.

Is it a possibility to set up a chat client that could be on permanently and we could pop in whether we're online and see if there's anyone to talk to? Or is that making a mountain out of a molehill?

Hi "Married"

An Open Chat? Hmmmm?
That would be interesting for discussing the Weather or World Events without
remembering any email addresses...
Sometimes when I visit, I do see a few people shown as online or registered.
I wonder if they would visit the chat just to see who was there?

Yeah, an open chat, then some of these 'guests' who are online but have not registered and are probably just hear to steal our stuff can pop in and say hi. :P
