Just watched it(in english) ant was pretty good, O'Neill can play dramatic characters too :)

sorry for speaking english as mein deutch ist shlecht :D

That was long before he started playing Al Bundy. Today, or at the time of Married with children, such a role would be impossible :P

He was even featured in a promo for Miami Vice when it started on a new channel here recently.

Ed was AMAZING in that Miami Vice episode. He was very intense and nothing like the Al Bundy character. It's such a fun role to see him play. Only three years before he made Married With Children.
