1101 Twisted

Post by Shoe Dick » Tue Apr 03, 2012 10:01 pm

Plot:

Bud has discovered that Ariel gets turned on by life-threatening situations and has decided to stage a fake tornado in order to get some from Ariel while they seek shelter in the Bundys' basement. Peg confirms that danger does in deed turn women on. However, a real twister appears in Chicago and the rest of the Bundys and the Jeffersons also have to seek shelter in the Bundys' basement. Which also means that Peg and Marcy get turned on...

Not sure what to vote on this one. It had some priceless scenes that made me laugh a lot, yet at the same time it felt a bit silly at times, like the tornado grabbing Al and the fat woman in the shoe store. It's a 3.5 or a 4-star episode for me. Can't really decide at the moment.

I decided on a 4 for this episode.

Hey, did anyone notice that at the end of this episode on the DVD, they used the original song as the credits rolled by? That's never happened before in any of the season 3-11 episodes as far as I know. What a mess-up :) I wonder why they bothered to change that song in the first place, I don't think they needed to pay the Sinatra estate anything for using that.

Yep, I heard that! And I think on the season four German DVD, Buck Saves The Day also has original music. Good to see attention to detail went into these releases.

I also gave it a 4, i like Jennifer Lyon's role. And even it is slapstick, it is fun to watch it.
