Good start of the season and one of the episodes I liked the best when I was younger. Very memorable. I gave it a 4.5.

I may have found something! Last time I looked, google was no help. It was now (hopefully)

Then, I found this:

Sounds plausable. The date fits.

July 01, 1994

Jimmy Maura, a former stage actor and extra who found a second career as a costumer on such television programs as "Married . . . With Children" and "Silver Spoons," has died at a Culver City hospice. He was 51.

Maura, a former Sherman Oaks resident who moved to Los Angeles several years ago, died Wednesday of cancer, said his niece, Gina Maura of Studio City.

i figured out that it had to be someone working on the show and who died
