Unable to confirm a Bundy quote

Post by gégène » Sat May 08, 2010 4:09 pm

In episode "Take My Wife, Please", I recall Death (played by Peggy Bundy) telling Al that when Abe Lincoln died, his last words were “okay okay, let’s not free them”

Unfortunately, I cannot find any reference to this quote. Am I wrong?

It's a joke, not an actual quote. It's an obvious reference to the Emancipation Proclamation.
