the actual bundy house

just wondering, where was the actual house used in establishing shots from? did they scout chicago for a decrepid old house or what?

There was never said where they shot that specific house.

BUT a few years ago a MWC-Fan found a house that looked exactly like the Bundyhouse. I think he found it somewhere in chicago.

I'll have to look if I find that pic again.

The house is located in a Chicago suburb, I don't know exactly where.

Yes, I've found the picture inbetween.

Of course nobody can be sure if it is realy THAT house or just a similar looking one.

And why this one topic has frozen up?For me it would be the only way to make The Bundy Realm real a little bit more. Besides, there's an adress on a large case in one of the episodes. The trip to London, in a clothes shop. They thrown a bunch of various clothes into the case, and the sticked label on the front said: "Ship to[the adress] Bundys'. I f*&^n failed to write it down, I watched this one episode in bus, while on trip.Screwy little TV, whole bus shaking that itching little bit that made it totally impossible to make the adress out, remember, and write it down. But I'm sure you'll track the episode down. That actually makes you god-like, puff-puff and here it is!!Well puff it up. And somebody from Chicago checks it out if it's correct

How about a little tantrum, why not. What if the adress would be a vacant lot?Or some taxi company HQ?Or ruined remains of the house?.. I'd say,

The address on the box in "The England Show, part 2" is 9764 Jeopardy Lane, Chicago. But of course this is not the actual address of the house. It is the fictional address of the Bundys. They would not use the real address of the house in the show.

The pictures are great indeed. And you were right, Mwcfan1, they wouldn't put up the actual adress of the house, another mistake of mine. I'm going to Chicago the next few months, and I will find the house - this I vow
