Ed O'Neill
Hi
I have been thinking about one thing for several years now. I'm 99% sure of that I saw Ed O'Neill in 'How The West Was Won' (1976-79)(a western about the family Macahan). He did not say anything and his rolecaracter was as an indian. He looked a bit funny with long dark hair... hehe
Is this anything you have heard about? Do you have any ideas where I can find moore info about Ed? I have
tried Google...

I didn't find any hints on that.
But I'll will ask a bit around in the community - maybe someone knows something.
The other thing is, that Ed's first movie was shot 1980. Nobody knew him 1979. So if he realy was in the series with a "no speaking" role, it will be not credited.
Great would be if you have a screenshot.

Re: Ed O'Neill
A darn good likeness!
Was this in the late 70s? Because this guy looks more like MWC-era Al Bundy.
Ed himself has said his first role was in 1980's "Cruising" so I'm doubtful. Doesn't mean it's not him...
Love the 6-and-a-half year gap between posts. Welcome back.

This thing has been haunting me, so today when I wanted to show my gf Zeb Macahan, I decided to try to find this episode.
Re: Ed O'Neill

Ok, I can't get over this haunting you for the last 9 years! That's hilarious!
Re: Ed O'Neill
ARMAN: Thanks for posting screenshots! I was thinking about doing that myself, but I ran out of time yesterday.
Dr.Shoe: 9 years is not enough... It was 9 years ago I started this thread, but I think I noticed this when I saw a re-run 1998 or so. Do I need a doctor?
EDIT: I'm pretty sure that the episode I saw back in 1998 or so, was another episode. As I remember, there was 4,5,6 indians in that screen. I recall that they did not have shirts. (I'm really unsure about this)

Striking likeness, but not Ed. Bought the complete series of this show just some weeks ago, actually. It was wildly popular in Sweden. How popular, you ask?
When my aunt was pregnant and her water broke and needed to go to the hospital, her husband said she had to take herself and that he'd meet up with her, because The Macahans was on!
True story.

"6-and-a-half years"? I'm stuck in 2011!
Arman - my goodness, you did EXACTLY what I was going to do last night. (Had it not been after 3am for me) Dogs of War pic and all! Only mine had Christopher Walken in it.
And you're right - this guy's head is a slightly different shape, and I think his nose is different.
Here's a pic of Ed in college:

It's very interesting the shows that certain countries latch onto -- MWC & Germany, for example.

Yeah, sounds like something Al would do, doesn't it? If Hondo was on, you better believe Peg would be driving there herself!
