Shane Sweet aka Seven

So I've been watching my recently arrived season 7 and the phenomenon of Seven just seems odd. The idea of having the third kid to appeal to a wider audience just seems short-sighted but why they chose such a horrible actor to play seven just baffles me. His line delivery is flat, he has no stage presense, and no quirky endearing qualities. Does anybody know how that kid got cast? I looked on the web and could find no information. Did they even hold auditions? Was he a studio execs kid or something? Anybody know anything?

I have to wonder if it was casting decision foisted on the producers and they deliberately chose a stale actor so they could sabatoge the effort. That seems crazy but the kid is just that bad!

I hated that caracter he played it soooo badly(staring at the film crew other than playing his role), well he was a child thats true but Faustino wasnt too much older when he started in MWC. Gladly they took him off.

The acting was not my biggest problem, it was just the kid being a useless character.

David Faustino said in the "Big Bundy Box Interview", that seven was a very poor actor - but netherless - the idea of seven itself was not the best one of the writers.

Faustino actually says he was a "poor" actor? Wow, Hollywood types almost never rip each other or at least I've rarely ever seen it happen in an interview. Its like being a politician out there, you don't want to make any enemies. I guess its safe to assume Mr. Sweet's got no pull left in the industry!
