Whatever Happened To The Bundy Couch?

Post by bis4bundy » Thu May 24, 2012 1:29 pm

There's a photo of the cast taken back in 2010, and they're sitting on it, or a replica. Was it saved? It should have been put into the Smithsonian, like the Archie Bunker chair. Anyone know its fate?

I think the whole set is sitting storage somewhere. Just a guess.

I was led to believe the couch IS in the Smithsonian.

Exactly, I doubt it will ever be put there, even though it rightfully should be there.

Hi Dr Shoe,

The best display of the Bundy Couch would include the Figure of Peg
sitting on it eating Bon-bons and having a cigarette..
That way, the sign on the display would not have to be explained to anyone.

So when I make my millions and set up the Bundy museum. when I die I will leave the collection to the Smithsonian Institute with the stipulation that it must become a permenant exhibit.

The couch was found on Craigslist along with a bunch of others. I have to find the article.

The entire Roseanne set was put up on eBay back in the early 2000s, couch, ottoman, all of it!

If this isn't the Bundy couch, you gotta admit that it's pretty damn close.

I wonder if there were multiple couches.

Remember that they couldn't find that clock on the wall for the 2003 MWC Reunion special, so they had to make a new one?

People were jacking shit during the final episode of "Cheers", and then sold it thousands. The bottom line: people steal stuff all the time and sell it. Thanks to the internet, stuff does become available, stuff that seems fantastical.

The Bundy couch had to end up somewhere.
