Kelly Bundy's dress sense

Half way through the MWC run the characters dress sense did a 180. Was there any specific reason for this? Did Christina object and was now in a position of leverage with the producers?

Anyone have an insight on this?

Maybe the rock and roll chick thing wouldn't make sense anymore from some point in early 90s . Thats my guess only.
But damn she looked hottest in rock and roll chick style...

Driving Mr Boondy is a rare one in terms of Kelly Bundy in undress in the late episodes

Hi InMeelis,

She looked pretty good as the Weathergirl and lets not forget
her at the bowling alley in the leather skirt and purple top

What the actual hell?

As for her dress sense change, it started around season six. Changing times, and I guess Christina having more say in what she could wear as Kelly. She stopped wearing the cross necklaces in the 90s. Then after she cut her hair, she started wearing tighter clothes than she did in season 8. Have to keep up the viewership, I guess.

Is Marriedaniac actually Daniel? Or do I have my posters mixed up?
Was that comment about the pic of the family ?
How closely did you look at it?

Could be that she was eager to find a boyfriend before the show ended?... or was it just because
she was Legal and willing?

Come on! With her supreme looks finding someone depending on dressing sense?

That may be true... but she did not seem to do more than date after the show ended.
Am I wrong in thinking that she did not get married until shortly before her cancer
surgery?

She got married in 2001, divorced in 2005/06. She and her current boyfriend/fiance/whatever are "living in sin." ;)

Thanks Marriedaniac,
How did I miss that?
Was she being ignored after Anchorman?

As I add pics/caps of Kelly to facebook episode by episode, I take even more notice of her clothes/style. I am looking to see if I can pinpoint a time when she stopped wearing cross necklaces!

She's wearing a Rebel flag on her jacket in one season...you actually couldn't get away with that now.

The character impersonated by Christina Applegate is - more or less - "white trash", so the inappropriate is appropriate here.
