Mwc buttons

Post by Al Bumby....?!?!? » Wed Apr 23, 2014 9:36 pm

Does anyone know if any of those large round button pins with photos and quotes from the show are authentic items or homemade stuff? Does anyone have one, and can you tell me if there is an LLP mark on the back of them? I'm looking to maybe buy a few but I only want authentic merchandise in my collection so any help would be appreciated.

Do you have any pics of these buttons?

Almost positive those are real. The reason I didn't buy a complete set some years ago was because I too wondered if they were legit or not. Don't remember where I got the info from, but I think I was told they are the real deal. There are 12 different buttons.

Thre are now 21 confirmed buttons. I will post all the pics shortly. There is currently an ebayer selling each button for $10 a piece and a shitload for shipping. Way overpriced in my opinion.

21? That's weird. The seller that had them said it was a complete set.

And 10 bucks a piece? Keep dreamin'!

Love those! Only have them loose, though.

Awesome score Dixon. I have all 5 of these loose but I would love to get some on the original package like that.

I came into a huge lot of officially licensed buttons. There seem to be 12 different buttons 1 3/4"inch in diameter and they make a set as previously mentioned above. I'm not sure about the other (9) buttons that confirm 21 in total, but I'll get pics of the 12 different ones from the sealed boxes up soon.

These buttons came from New Old Stock (NOS) and are packaged in a MWC printed display box.I have not been able to find any info on the display box anywhere including Worthpoint.

I realize the last post in this thread was 5 years ago, but if anyone has any other info please share.
