Good question, Spare Tire. Is there?

I remember at about that time Hondo was shown on TV in 3-D and I got the glasses an everything. I remember being disappointed because the 3-D wasn’t like what I had seen at the movies or Epcot Center. It was more like one of those comic books or a hologram sticker or something. Not sure what the connection was with Hondo and 3-D, maybe it was aired in the theaters that way.

If there is ever an original FOX as-aired version of this episode available to download/view, it will be interesting to see.

Katey Sagal did an interview in 1994 sort of to promote this episode and the most she said was it was shot with "a special kind of camera" and you can pick up these 3D glasses "at your local convenience store". :D

I think they also promoted Revenge of the Nerds in 3-D along with the MWC episode. I see the original glasses being offered on Ebay from time to time.

A copy of the 3-D version that originally aired would be awesome!

FOX-O-RAMA!
There was also other promos with Al/Ed hosting the night and saying "Nerds ahoy!"

Nice find marriedaniac!

Here's something cool. Anyone ever seen one before? It looks like Peg and Al are wearing the same clothes in the promo as they did in the show.
The seller has a bunch of them.

Also a nice find! I haven't seen that photo before. Note the plant blocking Katey's pregnant stomach, lol.

Watched it yesterday, love the Western scenes, an Al as he copies Hondo. And i was sad that i missed the Hondo Viewing of this Community 11 years ago

But its shown every 17 years, so in 2028, who knows…

I read on Wikipedia that Hondo is the first Westen released as a 3D movie, so truly Special.
