Budrick: "What do you think, ladies? Early James Dean or the Bride of Leavenworth?"

I have racked my brain and the internet and I do not understand this joke. I assume he is saying "Early James Dean..." as sarcasm cause we know Dean was cool. However who is the "Bride of Leavenworth?" It sounds like a literary or historical reference but I haven't the foggiest who Leavenworth or his bride is? Does anybody else?

I can only think of Leavenworth Penitentiary. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Sta ... eavenworth

Al in Dud Bowl II: "Leavenworth, that's great!"

A quick look on Google tell us a Bride of Leavenworth pageant exists: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index ... 335AAvMdNB

What's the Dud Bowl reference? Who's Leavenworth in that one?

When Al was looking for the only other guy who could hold a candle to him, on the phone: "He's where? Leavenworth, that's great! I mean, it's great he's off the street, bubbye."
