Great episode as well as part I.
I don't like the "Jerry Mathers" part, but anyway. 5 stars!

Nobody knows that guy outside the US.
But of course if you know his story it might be funny.

Don't know who he is and don't know the show, but it was easy to see what they were aiming at. He's a has-been child actor who has to do these demeaning gigs to be able to pay the rent.

Exactly. He's pretty well known, even people in my generation watched
Leave it to Beaver reruns as kids. Maybe you don't know this either but when they call him "Opie" they are purposely confusing him with a kid character on
The Andy Griffith Show another sit-com from the 50s. You guys know that one? They reference that show in some other episodes of MWC. I'll post some info on that thread.

I have a feeling, and its just a hunch, that Al's Cart of Death is based on the cars in the 1975 film Deathrace 2000 in which a bunch of tricked out cars race across the United States and try to kill each other on the way.

I was just calling the local store Foodies. I don't think there actually is such a chain, sorry! I think they did a great job with the set in thease episodes. It looks like a real store to me especially toward the front, I can kinda tell its a set though, I think I put the question out there on the thread about part one.
