I gave this one a 3, not a great ending of a great season IMO.

I have to agree. Although, Peggy's speech (about building confidence during sex) is GREAT. 8)

I like Al's lesson on The Bigger Idiot Theory.

"Honey, I am going to give you... ten dollars. Now I want you to buy. No animal heads or paintings or Hoss Cartwright ceramic memorial hats. Just food. Do you think you can do that, Pookie?" Hee hee, you think he'd learn.

Dan Blocker (1928-1972) played Hoss Cartwright of the TV western Bonanza from 1958-1972. He weighed near 375lbs at the end of his life. He died during surgery, hence the memorial hats....

I always think the weird TV-related stuff Peggy buys is pretty funny. :)
Thanks for the info on Hoss, wasn't sure when he died.

And I love - LOVE - "Pookie".

Doesn't Al use the word "Pookie" quite often when talking to a sad Peggy Bundy? I think so. I also believe that is where my mom got the word Pookie from. She still uses it to this day.

e.g. "I care about you, Pookie." in 322. :)

I've been known to call my cat Pookie on occasion.
