Usually if accounts are the actual celebrity they have the blue checkmark on them to verify authenticity. His has not been verified. But that doesn't necessarily mean it isn't him. ??? Hopefully he can confirm one way or another soon.

In the Article of the NYdailynews the above twitter account is mentioned..so I expect it to be true...
Although ofcourse I dont know for sure, as there are others Ed Oneill accounts which have far more followers(??),
I myself dont have an account, dont do twitter, maybe some day..
