MWC now on VH1

Post by marriedaniac » Fri May 04, 2012 7:19 am

"Who'll be watching VH1???"

http://blog.sitcomsonline.com/2012/04/m ... n-vh1.html
So it looks like Married...with Children on MTV2 didn't last long. It was removed after about a week last month, but now it has resurfaced on yet another Viacom-owned cable network. Married...with Children has aired on MANY Viacom networks already: Spike TV, TV Land, Comedy Central, CMT, Nick at Nite, MTV2 and now it has joined VH1 Classic as of last week. So if you're still counting, this is the seventh Viacom cable network to air the series in this same contract. The '90s comedy starring Ed O'Neill, Katey Sagal, Christina Applegate and David Faustino is airing now on VH1 Classic Sun-Fri at both 8-9am and 12am-1am. And of course as you all know by now, the series will continue to be shared with TBS which airs the series in very early mornings anytime between 2-7am.

Just got new tv (old was 15 years old with only few channels)now new has VH1.Don't have VH1 classic.
Atleast Kanal12 shows it here. But i watched it there yesterday for first time and the quality was like they would have ripped it from somewhere with low quality. Weird i guess.

Hi InMeeless,

I also have noticed the quality of MWV reruns is not what it once was...
Maybe NTSC does not convert well to ATSC/PAL
You could send the Originating Station a comment if it is really bad quality..

I might consider that if i'm not too lazy. Do you have VH1 classic?

Hi InMeelis,

No.. not in Kanada...
I would have to find a pirate satellite system to get US stations like that one.

I am watching reruns this week on TV-Tropolis and the quality is great for a change,
Watched "Her Cup Runneth Over", "Fair Exchange", and "The House That Peg Lost" (Marcy's house)
on Sunday.. They were all great episodes.. especially the visit to the Kinky Underwear store
where Al bought 10 bras for Peg (remember the scene where the girl opens the curtain and asks
Al "If you were my boyfriend, would you like this outfit better with or without the bra" and Al
passes out on the floor from the exposure.) That episode had some of the best babes ever on MWC.
This is a 5.

"Fair Exchange" was also great, especially when the French Exchange student says to Bud..
"I don't mind if you peep"... when she catches him drilling a hole in the wall to the garage.
I think Kelly really hated her after that taping. I give it a 4.5
The acting in these was also as good as it gets.

Am I refreshing any memories?

Hi InMeelis...
Dang! You have good taste!

I won't mention the episode where Al has to comb the streets for the Barbie Doll collection...
That was the real "Shoe Dick" (No offense intended)
