_Psycho Dad_ wrote:My favourite sitcom is ofcourse MWC. All other sitcoms are just a good or a bad try, mostly a bad try (seinfeld, fresh prince...). The only one that is unique and is something new, like the mwc was new in the 80s and 90s, is THE BIG BANG THEORY, although the new season pretty much sucks. I like very much THE COMEDY CENTRAL ROAST OF CELEBRETIES, and let us ask ourselves who started the whole roast thing, yes in mwc they were roasting eachoter all the time. The best roasters are Jeff Ross, Lisa Lampanelli and Greg Giraldo (RIP).
Some other good shows:
-SIMPSONS
-BEAVIS AND BUTTHEAD
-ALO ALO (this is really good if you havent seen it yet)
-SOPRANOS
-KNIGHT RIDER
-TOP GEAR (only the original english series)
-NIP TUCK

And the best non sitcom show ever made is DEXTER. Seriously if you havent seen this yet, start watching season 1 and you wont be able to stop.
Thats about it, if i remember some that i missed out i will write them.

Ooh. Ooh. Knight Rider. I loved that show. Glad that you brought it up. Thanks!

My favs in no particular order:
South Beach Tow
Hardcore Pawn
Lizard Lick Towing
Family Feud
24
Family Guy
South Park
Nightmare Next Door
Unusual Suspect
Married with Children

Haven't heard of these at all. What are they?

They all sound like shows on the american TLC/A&E-type channels. I know about Hardcore Pawn (whoa, say that in Australia and people will think you're talking about the real thing ;) )

Bought Batman '66 blu ray on amazon.it , highly recommended....sad that the last season was so mediocre , both script & set wise (the budget was spent on s1 & s2 , could barely afford sets anymore) :(

Full House is a guilty pleasure of mine , it's supposed to be silly & cheesy....that's it's charm :)

Funny when Joey does his celeb impersonations (Pesci , Nicholson etc).....

Nicky & Alex : "Shame on you....double shame !"

Besides Lori Loughlin , have mercy indeed

Really need to devise my list. Most of the my fave shows are split between 'UK' and 'US' shows.

Has anyone else seen The Goldbergs? One of the shows I can't get enough of right now.
Based on a real family and set in '80s. Murray has some Al-like qualities. It's sort of like if the Bundys were Jewish. And it's very funny! :)

I've seen some of The Goldberg's, pretty surprised it's still on the air as the main star isn't really leading guy material. Would like to see more to catch all the awesome 80's references.

Yeah, I like that, it’s pretty funny. Haven’t noticed any direct MWC references yet.

Just finished season 3 and no MWC references... yet?
I'm loving all the 80s stuff, their theme episodes are pretty good.
